20th Anniversary Dinner
Local Individuals and Organizations to Be Honored at 9th Annual Event
On Thursday, October 20th Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland (CCCSR) will host their 20th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Town & Country at 922 Route 9W in Congers. CCCSR will honor four area individuals and organizations for their support of CCCSR’s mission.
HONOREES:
- Two Community Service Awards: Stokes Farm and Alex Bursztein of the Legal Aid Society of Rockland, Inc.
- Business Community Service Award: Curti’s Landscaping
- Lifetime Volunteer Community Award: Marilyn and Don Colucci
Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland is an affiliate of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York and is a not-for-profit 501c3 social service agency established in 1996 by the eighteen Catholic parishes of Rockland County. Through compassionate and professional case management, Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland assists individuals and families of all ages, from every race, and ethnic group from throughout Rockland County regardless of their religious affiliation. The organization’s focus is on providing the necessities of life, such as food, shelter and emergency assistance for those in need. Programs include information and referral, general case management, homelessness and eviction prevention, emergency financial assistance, Nutritional Outreach and Education, a food pantry, Money Management Workshops and Counseling, and immigration legal services.
Each year nearly 250 people attend the dinner to help support people in need and honor those who help others through their support of CCCSR. Tickets for the dinner are available for purchase for $100 each.
